If you take a cl at a gym, can you learn how to do a backhandspring in 3 months???
i definetly wouldnt count on getting a backhandspring tuck. 3 months is pretty short to learn a backhandspring, but some people will be able to do it easily. you need to make sure to work out so you can gain the muscle to do these skills and you need to be willing to try these skills without being scared. if you dont get it by the time tryouts come, see if you can do these skills with a spot so the coaches can see that you are working on it. also, you dont need tumbling to make a team, but it is going to be helpful. i dont really remember how long it took me to get a backhandspring, but it took me about a year to get a standing/running/bhs tuck
