Migraines! Took Excedrin. Help?

I've been getting migraines for the past 6 months. I decided to finally try some migraine medicine today by recommendation of my doctor. Excedrin works for my friend so I bought it. I took a half a pill just to see what it would do. I don't have a migraine, or any head pain really. But I feel very, very weird. Sort of spacy. Does anyone else get this? This happened when I took dramamine for the vertigo I had after a cruise. Thank you so much for any feedback.
