What are some popular rap, hip hop, pop, and rock songs to cover with my band?

my band and I listen to rather underground-eske music and we want to learn some good covers that will be "crowd pleasers" when we perform in the coming months. We're a high school band so any songs are good with us. we were leaning toward the idea of using a rap, hip hop, or pop song and making it into a rock song. but rock suggestions are welcome too. thanks for the help!
