Do you know a great holiday home near Sydney but right on the water front? Not too expensive?

I'm looking for a place to take my partner for a romantic getaway within an hour of the Sydney CBD. Not a hotel but more like a holiday home - needs to be absolute waterfront - where I can prepare a gourmet dinner and then a pionate evening with just the two of us. Ideas anyone?
