I have lived in California my entire life and I love it. I've visited other countries and states and I can honestly say that I wouldn't want to live anywhere else. The weather is great here! Migraines! Took Excedrin. Help?

I've been getting migraines for the past 6 months. I decided to finally try some migraine medicine today by recommendation of my doctor. Excedrin works for my friend so I bought it. i definetly wouldnt count on getting a backhandspring tuck. 3 months is pretty short to learn a backhandspring, but some people will be able to do it easily. you need to make sure to work out so you can gain the muscle to do these skills and you need to be willing to try these skills without being scared. if you dont get it by the time tryouts come, see if you can do these skills with a spot so the coaches can see that you are working on it. also, you dont need tumbling to make a team, but it is going to be helpful. i dont really remember how long it took me to get a backhandspring, but it took me about a year to get a standing/running/bhs tuck

it's referring to sector size in a ntfs file system the default is 4096 kb but flash drives are usually formatted as fat for compatibility other o/s's but as yours is an 8gb you should format it fat32 because fat can only support up to 2gig but if you only intend to use it on xp or vista machines a ntfs file system will be ok

My new, 10 week old kitten has goopy, red, swollen eyes...?

I got my kitten on Sunday and he was 100% fine. On Monday morning I woke up and one of his eyes was really red and kind of swollen. By the time I got home from work, one eye was sealed shut and the other has tons of goopy stuff in it. I was going to take him to the vet last night but I decided to see if using warm water and a washcloth would help any first. So I've been wiping his eyes with a clean, warm washcloth and they look better for about 20 minutes then they get all goopy again. I wasn't home for about 2 hours last night and I had wiped his eyes before I left and they were fine. By the time I got home it was sealed shut again. I didn't wipe them at all throughout the night and this morning one is really read and they are still pretty goopy, but nothing compared to last night. Does anyone have any idea what this could be? I was thinking URI but he isn't showing any signs of having a cold.. no sneezing, running nose, etc.

10 month old - rapid breathing and moaning/whinning sounds while sleeping?

This was b/c my instructor made us earn our saddle by being able to lope around the arena !! that took me about a summer to do, the summer after i was in second grade. I went to visit a friend at his job not to long ago because i took him some gas money and as we was talking he was up on the forklift thing which was pretty high and we said bye and everything as i was walking away he fell over the rail right onto the floor having a seizure and i ran back and we called 911 i went to the hospital with him and he broke his arm and also his jaw and some face bones and they did a cat scan and it was normal and he needed surgery so after he came out a few days went by and he started to wake up and later on that day he had another seizure and they did a eeg right away and it was normal so the doctor was like he was having pseudo seizures?? i am aware of it and one thing about a person that has pseudo seizure they is not going to hurt themselves that serious and not just lay there and not cry for pain or anything so i was angry along with his family because they treated him like crap when he had seizures they will pinch him and squeeze his and all and will say he was just a good actor so its like wtf then he had another seizure and the doctor claimed to everyone he was faking and said he was going to prove it and order a eeg while they were happening it sure enough showed seizures to the point he went into SE. now his mom is suing my question is can charges be filed against this doctor?

The bald spots are normal for atiels, the one behind their heads appear more in lutinos (all yellow birds) and their preen gland is located just above their tail feathers. They'll use it to waterproof their feathers with the oil from the gland. You should consider having her wings clipped, it sometimes makes them more docile and nice (gets rid of attitude) and will prevent her from running into a wall if she gets spooked. I had a friend whose atiel flew into the ceiling fan and got killed because they didn't clip her wings. Give her some time without interaction. It usually takes up to 2 weeks for a bird to get used to it's new home. Don't touch her for a while. My female always hissed at me, and nipped, but wasn't trying to hurt me or she would have done so.

How to tell if my eye is infected?

My son threw a plastic container at me yesterday and the sharp corner hit me directly in my eye. I went to the doctors last night and was told I have a corneal abrasion, was given antibiotic eye drops. I was told to rest my eye last night and it should be better as of this morning, just to watch for infection. But what he didn't tell me is how to tell if it's infected. The foreign body sensation is almost gone, but my eye is really swollen, bright red, and I can barely keep it open, it's watering so bad all the time that the water is running down my face pretty much nonstop. Is this normal? or do I have an infection? I do not have a vehicle to get to the doctors until this evening when my husband gets home from work, otherwise I would probably just go back to the doctors. Thanks everybody in advance!

absolutely love the idea, but i much prefer the storyline with agent ballard investigating the dollhouse to the activities of the dollhouse itself. i think with a show like this that is less primed for comedy than a show like buffy, the underlying mythology of the show will always be more interesting than what happens each 'mission' cos without humour, its just not as enjoyable. i can only watch echo being a different person so many times before i just wanna know more about the dollhouse itself. the first episode was pretty good but didnt grab me. then again, whedons shows all start pretty slowly before becoming the greatest thing on tv, so hopefully its given a chance to grow, cos it has mes of potential

If you have ground beef in the freezer, that is really easy to take from the freezer, while it's still in the package run under tap water to loosen it up. Put it in a nonstick frying pan with a little oil and turn it on med. low heat. As it starts to thaw, chop it up with a wooden spoon. Season it and set it aside. When it cools a little then use it in place of the chicken. If you don't have ground beef, maybe you'll have grated cheese. Cheese enchiladas are great too. Don't worry too much if you have to make something else. Egg omlets are easy and quick. It will all work out! Red dots (Petechiae) on my neck after vomiting?

Last night I had a little too much to drink and threw up. Today I discovered petechiae all over the front of my neck and some on my face. I read that it was common to find it on your face after vomiting violently, but I can't find anything about having it on my neck. Wikipedia says that there are a lot of other causes for petechiae including congenital syphilis which really worries me because I have had unprotected with a few partners in the past (irresponsible, I know). She dropped the blade from her hand in horror. She was ashamed of her self…she had done so well she can’t ruin it all now. She violently shook her head; internally refusing to give in to that toxic cure she knew all too well. In fact, her entire self worth depended on how deep of a wound she could create. Question about blood clots?

ok so ive been freaking out about having a blood clot all day. I havent even been able to enjoy my turkey day because of it. My calf has felt sore all day. Im not sure exactly why. Ive been walking a mile everyday. Im also 3 months postpartum. But Ive had my leg checked out twice, and today I called my OB and she told me that unless its red and swollen I have nothing to worry about. HSV-1 Never had an outbreak, 38 weeks pregnant risks to the baby?

At the beggining of my pregnancy they tested me and told me that I tested positive for HSV-1. Not really that big of a deal, I know that it's extremely common (cold sores etc). Now I'm at the end and they asked me if I'd like to take acyclovir to prevent an outbreak before delivery to ensure the safety of the baby. I've never had a cold sore and never had a genital outbreak so I'm a little worried that I'll be taking this medication without knowing the risks for no reason since they don't know the risks of the medication yet. My question is what are the risks to the baby if I don't take the medication? I've never had a genital outbreak or a cold sore so........ I'm just worried that the risks of the medication outweigh the risks of her getting infected.

My friends and I went to a public high school to skateboard in Fremont, California (Mission San Jose High School). My friends and I hopped no fences in order to enter the high school, we were able to get in because the school is open. We skated for a little bit and the principal asked us to not skateboard. We stopped skating and we left the school. After we left, my friends and I got thirsty so we went back to the school just to use the water fountain (we held our skateboards the whole time). When we were done drinking out of the fountain we sat down and set our boards aside. We were really tired and our parents were going to pick us up, so at the exit of the school there was a stair set that we just sat down on waiting for our parents (we didn't skating here at all also). This place was only 10 feet away from the street, it was completely visible too. As we waited for our parents to come, the same man who didn't let us sit previously after drinking water got in his car. He took out his phone and started to call the school police. We kindly told the man that we were waiting for his parents. He simply said that he didn't care. I told him we were just kids, and then he was like give me some identification of yours, give me your cell phone. He was being really rude and harsh. My friends and I made a run for it and then he found us eventually in a deep residential area. He then took my friend's phone and called his mom and told her how we can go to jail and everything. Painting Dorm Walls Idea?

I'm going to college this upcoming fall and noticed that the dorms are really...drab and dull. I thought it would be cool to paint them, and paint some areas with chalkboard paint. I'm having trouble deciding on which hotel to choose from in atlanta, ga. I'm planning a trip around may. The hotel I'm leaning towards are Atlanta Marriott Northwest and The Ellis Hotel. now I don't know much about atlanta, ga but I heard that you have to pay for parking everywhere . now I was planning to visit the Aquarium, world of coca cola, cnn studio , art museum, zoo, six flags. botanical garden etc. now which hotel is better as far as clean rooms nice service and surring area to take lots of pictures. we don't mind driving to the attractions but what about paying for parking at each attraction is there attrations close to one another where we pay for parking and just walk to the other? I also heard about taking the marta? newbie at that one . also is there any other hotel I might have missed that anyone recommends besides these two. any websites that might help planning a trip to atlanta. I racked up a $5,000 bill for a night in the ER and soon after I didn't pay it was handed over to a debt collector. I've tried to negotiate with them and make a smaller settlement but nothing is working. They are demanding the full amount, and threatening to file a lawsuit against me so they can garnish my wages. Why does everyone write off the Portugese. They do proper investigations they don't let anything slip in case they frame the wrong person, they wait till all their paperwork is in place, they wait till all the results are in. Not like us we pull in a suspect, tell everyone what we've done, leak it to the press so most suspects get off because they can't get a fair trial, or delay the courts and put in the wrong evidence so the case gets thrown on a technicality. Why penalise a police force that refuses to make any judgements until they are 100% strong in their evidence. 2 years ago, my ex and I split and moved back to California from Hawaii. Our divorce was finalized in August of last year. Due to the fact that he was incarcerated at the time of the divorce, I was awarded what I asked for; Full PHYSICAL and LEGAL custody of our 8 year old daughter with NO request for Child Support. This week he was released from prison and though I would like to give him the benefit of the doubt that he will be a semi-active part of her life, I am intending to petition the court for Child Support. I am afraid that if I "ruffle feathers" that he will in turn petition the courts for Joint Custody. Though his original conviction is not of a violent nature, it is my understanding that he also had a charge against him (from before my daughter was born) of "Child Endangerment" for "kidnapping" his 3 children from his previous marriage and in my experience, he has displayed irresponsiblity & instablity in his habits. I am very concerned for my daughter's well-being.

Gas question for my 97 ls400?

i drive a 1997 lexus ls400. it has a V8 engine and the car Manuel says to use premium (91). in my area the gas prices are at 4 dollars for the regular (87) 4.15 for 89 and 4.30 for the premium (91). i dont usually drive that far on week days or even weekends but occasionally i drive to areas that are about and hour and half away. ive stopped using 91 for a long long time. ive been using 87. i get about 280 miles until i have to refill my tank which can hold 22 gallons. i usually go to arco which has the cheapest gas in my area. recently i filled my tank at shell with 87 and for some reason i was able to pull of nearly 400 miles with it. do you guys think there is a difference in gas at gas stations and whether you do or not should i maybe use 89 for my car? and one last thing, if i have about a quarter tank of gas left which is 87 fuel. would it damage my car when i go to refuel it with 89 or 91? thanks

You could "juice" it all you want with a better roller hydraulic camshaft from the 2011 GM Performance Parts Catalog.There are better cylinder heads available from Chevrolet for not a lot of money.

Mortgage taking too long, sellers looking to take down payment?

My husband and I went into contract on a condo on Long Island on April 30th, 2010. The contract for this condo was written up so that it would be on or closed before June 30th in order to obtain the 8k tax credit. We worked with a guy from wells fargo in the beginning and applied for a conventional loan and things seemed to be going smoothly until around the end of may when things started to not make sense, and the next thing you know, (unbeknown to us) we were starting the mortgage process all over again with a different company because we were never formally given a denial notice from wells fargo and they decided to take it into their own hands to hand it off to a private company of their own choice. after going through the mortgage process AGAIN, and getting all the same paperwork, etc. together, we were denied from this company but were finally told it was because the specific condo ociation that we were purchasing in, arent approved for conventional mortgages, and they are only FHA approved. By this time it was already july 20th, and we were informed that the sellers of the condo were getting antsy, to say the least, and were on the fence about whether they still wanted to proceed. Our lawyer finally pulled some strings and had us work with one of the higher ups at wells fargo and we met with him july 23rd, and started the process all over again, this time going through with the FHA loan. things seemed to finally be calming down and looking hopeful, but this past week we were asked to meet with our lawyer (which usually isnt good news). As it turns out, the sellers and their lawyer came up with an ammendment to the contract of sale that would give us until september 24th to close. In the meantime, according to the ammendment, 5k must be released to the seller upon signing the ammendment, then another 5k to be released on August 13th, another 5k to be released August 27th, another 5k to be released september 10th, and finally another 5k to be released september 24th. This would be a total of 25k released to the seller which they are entitled to keep if closing doesnt take place by september 24th. Of course we've been in touch with the mortgage company to check up on the status of the mortgage process but because everything is backed up, they can never guarantee anything. Our lawyer suggested that instead of the proposed ammendment by the sellers attorney, we could propose to release 5k upon signing, and then an additional 2500 in 30 days. My husband and I have been through so much to get this condo and now we just feel like we're stuck between a rock and a hard place. I dont know what we would do if we took the risk of releasing the money and then finding out that we cant close in time, and walking away with significantly less money in our pocket and knowing we spent 4 months of hell spending every waking minute working on this. We are really looking for advice. Even if law or mortgages arent your forte. What would you do if you were in this situation? Thank you so much for your time!

I'm really scared, I'm only 16 and I've moved every year for the past 3 yrs and I really don't want to be uprooted again. We have been paying every monthly rent easily, but our Fing landlord isn't paying the mortgage and we just found out that our old landlord who supposedly sold the house to him, never actually did sell it! so nobody is paying for the house, even though we pay all our rent.
