I Need HELP! Some advice would be helpful?

I am in Boulder City, NV. in a rest home (I no longer need their services,Thank GOD). I am trying to move to Mesquite, NV., I have found an apartment, Section 8 is not accepting applications until 2012 (so that's not an option) I just need help with rent till I can apply for Sec. 8 (I am on Disability), any suggestions for furniture? Thanks
