Should drinking age be lowered 18 or 19?

I know this question has come up before, but being well over the drinking age I have a diffeerent perspective. I think it should be lowered. Back when I was young it was 18 in most or all states. When it was raised to 21 and drunk driving accidents declined, everyone praised raising the drinking age. I dissagree. I was under 21 at the time and Me and my friends had no trouble getting beer. Many watch dog groups such as MADD, and SADD were ont he rise, controlling drunks on the road. Police were getting more strict with DUI's, and States lowering the legal limit. so we have inconclusive data. so in my opinion the age should be 18 0or 19. At that age you are a contributing member of society, and should be treated as such
